DKH Debuts on VANDIT Alternative with New Single ‘I Wanna Fade’

Sunderland, UK – Rising talent Declan Howe, known as DKH, is set to make a major impact on the electronic music scene with his debut release on VANDIT Alternative. The new single, titled ‘I Wanna Fade,’ combines driving trance energy with progressive house elements, showcasing DKH’s unique style and artistry. Available now on all major platforms, the track promises to be a standout in summer sets around the globe.

Hailing from Sunderland, UK, DKH has quickly garnered attention with his ability to blend a wide range of electronic styles, from Trance to Melodic House/Techno. Known for sets that vary from 124bpm to 145bpm, DKH draws inspiration from a wide pool of artists and genres. Among his biggest influences is the UK’s own Cristoph, whose deep progressive sound has long served as a guiding light in DKH’s career.

“I’ve been inspired by Cristoph’s work for as long as I can remember, but also by big trance melodies,” says DKH. “My sets are a mix of progressive house, trance, and techno, and I try to bring that same range and energy to my productions.”

The artist’s studio setup is as straightforward as his approach to music, featuring a home studio powered by Ableton Live, 2 monitors, and a MIDI keyboard. However, it’s not just the software that’s driving his sound. This year, DKH transformed his conservatory into a practice room, upgrading his DJ setup with the addition of a Pioneer XDJ-XZ. “It’s been a game-changer,” he says.

Having cut his teeth at Lost Minds Festival 2024, where he shared the stage with some of the biggest names in dance music, DKH’s next major performance will be at Creamfields Festival this August. Reflecting on past festival moments, DKH recalls watching Paul van Dyk at Cream Amnesia in 2014 as a pivotal experience. “It was incredible seeing Paul for the first time,” he says. “That and seeing Ben Hemsley at Amnesia in 2024 really cemented my love for the scene.”

DKH’s current top tracks reflect his wide-ranging tastes, and alongside his own releases, including his debut single ‘I Wanna Fade,’ his favorite tracks of the moment include Factor B’s ‘Everywhere To Me’ and Craig Connelly & James Cottle’s ‘Be As One.’

For now, ‘I Wanna Fade’ is set to make waves as DKH begins to carve out his space in the global electronic music landscape. With more releases in the pipeline and a major festival performance ahead, the future is bright for this emerging artist.
