Dennis Sheperd presents Fight Your Fears (The Remixes) on A Tribute To Life / Black Hole Recordings
On February 26th, ‘Fight Your Fears – The Remixes’ will be released on the A Tribute To Life label, as the official remix album of Dennis Sheperd’s second artist album. After two months of running one of the biggest remix competitions in trance history, German producer, DJ and record label owner Dennis Sheperd named the 6 winning remixes. Upcoming talents Maratone vs. XiJaro & Pitch, Evoland, Matt Chowski, Peter Kontor, Paul Arcane and Eric Rose will have their remix skills showcased on the album, a potential kick-start to their careers.
As the first fully crowd-funded trance album, Sheperd’s ‘Fight Your Fears’ stood out even before its release – but also after the German rising star unveiled his successful collaborations with Katty Heath, Christina Novelli, Sylvia Tosun, Molly Bancroft and more. Eight months after its release, Sheperd announced the winning remixes in the official remix competition. Dennis: “With quite a few entries, it took me several days to make the decision on who to name the winners. But in the end, I chose for remixes with the most unique approach on the original, adding a different twist to ‘Starlight’, ‘Summer’, ‘Dare To Dream’, ‘We Are’, ‘Where I Begin’ and ‘Come Alive’. It was a great challenge, both for the producers to remix, as well as me for picking out the best ones. I hope that by featuring them on the remix album, I can help to stimulate their careers. They’re great talents for sure.”
Complementing the 6 winning remixes, are previously released but highly successful remixes by Tenishia (‘Runaway’ w/ Cold Blue & JES), Ronski Speed (‘Bring You Home’ ft. Chloe Langley) and DJ Ange (‘Les Ailes’ w/ David MeShow & Francis Gaulin ft. Julia Westlin). Also included, are new remixes by DEEM, Anna Lee, Jorza, Chris Giulano and Liftwalkers. On February 26th, ‘Fight Your Fears – The Remixes’ will be released on all major download portals, as well as all radio edits of the remixes on Spotify.
