‘Augmented Reality’ is the brainchild of four Italian producers. The first drop hits you with a grooved, blistering Bass, soon joined by intensifying arps that lead you to a breakdown. The arp develops into the main melody and everything opens up before another filter retrace and drum roll signifies the drop is ahead. What a great moment it is, the previous dark melodies give away to a very bright, uplifting chord stabs that feel somewhat optimistic but remain melancholic. After the main section, it’s back to the tweeting arps and you ask yourself ‘what just happened, was it real?
