Jan Blomqvist, Electronic music pioneer and live-performance virtuoso Jan Blomqvist will on Friday release his third studio album, ‘MUTE,’ a reflective concept album blending introspective lyricism with infectious dancefloor energy. Crafted whilst on tour and completed in Berlin, the 12-track album explores themes of quiet contemplation, charting a hopeful journey from sadness to self-discovery. Collaborations with artists like Rodriguez Jr., Beobȇ, Natasha Polke, and Bondi elevate its creative depth, with longtime lyricist Maybemahri adding poignant narratives. Blomqvist’s ‘MUTE’ live tour, known for its immersive visuals and reimagined band setup, has already sold out multiple dates across Europe and continues through North America this March.
