Spanish producer, Edorta Fernandez (DJ XBoy) takes inspiration from a place very close to his heart and brings us the PsyTrance-fuelled “Basque”.
Giving you exactly what you want to hear in a psy track, Edorta delivers the punchy kicks, rolling psy bass and a huge dose of acid but also finds a place for melodic elements and nature FX too! Heavy and hedonistic, we can see this doing damage in many a psy club and festival.
The remix on this release comes courtesy of Italian producer, Xenger One. Raul takes “Basque” in a slightly different direction and gives it a hard trance flavour with the acid ramped up and the bass more grinding. A soothing break alters the mood completely but builds steadily before launching the full-on drop. If you like your trance to have energy & drive then this is the version for you.
