VANDITeers, time to celebrate – new music incoming here from the one and only Chris Bekker! His first solo material post last summer’s ‘Berlinition’ album, it finds our musical polymath in his most trancey state of mind to date. ‘Miles Away’ is a sleekly crafted, devoutly instrumental, progressively inclining, and yet gravity-defying slice of trance music.
As many a keen-eyed observer will have noted, things at VANDIT have visibly taken a celestial turn of late. After 250+ releases decked out in their iconic blue & white livery, the Berliners have taken inspiration from that space beyond, and courtesy of astrophotographer Adam Block’s incredible shots rolled out their new label look.
Through his uplifting synths and the mainline’s sky-scraping notes, Chris sets ‘Miles Away’ on an equally heavenly course. Taking you out of your everyday, to somewhere very special indeed, this is music to watch the stars by.
