Johnny E makes his return to Trancespired, this time in the form of a collab with Craig Mortimer. “The Rush” is, as you can guess by the name, an emotional uplifter and John & Craig deliver the goods here big time. The standout here is in it’s break – utterly sublime with some truly magnificent pianowork, pads and a tremendous lead melody fulfilling the ‘rush’.
Remix duties this time go to MakeFlame. Fresh from his recent solo release with us, Make takes the Original and sets a bomb underneath it! If you find the original version a bit too light then head here, Make sets the tone from the off with it’s dark energy. Manic acid lines are introduced sending this version in a completely different direction before dropping to a perfectly counterbalanced break where the beautiful pianowork takes centre-stage before the intoxicating lead melody takes over and pushes you to the drop with great anticipation.
A truly fantastic release in two flavours, which should appeal to uplifting and tech-heads alike.
