Jorge Caballero presents Dreams EP on Trancespired Recordings

Mexico’s Jorge Caballero reworks one of his classics here for his debut appearance on Trancespired Recordings in the “Dreams EP”. “Violet” was originally released by Jorge way back in 2012 to critical acclaim – even supported by the mighty Paul Oakenfold on his Full On Flouro show. Giving “Violet” a 2020 remake, Jorge picks up the tempo and ramps up the energy levels with this uplifting belter. Ferocious kicks and bubbling acid basslines are joined by the original melody leading you up to the epic breakdown. Emotional padwork is met with an awesome lead melody filtering up to the devastating drop. As good as the original version was, you can hear how Jorge has improved as a producer in this masterpiece.
However, that is not all. Generous Jorge has also included a second track which is also destined to be on the playlist of many DJ’s. “Some Of My Dreams” is a tale of two exceptional halves. In the first half we have a high octane tech-trance monster with lots of little techy glitch effects and a truly infectious rolling bassline. Add in some manic acid and you have a recipe for dancefloor destruction! At the breakdown we have really sorrowful strings giving way to an epic trance lead and an enthralling build takes you to the drop. From here on the track takes an emotional and uplifting direction with those soaring leads taking centre stage. An utterly astounding track which makes this EP essential.
